Junior Tennis – Winter & Spring 2024
“Competition is essential to the growth of an athlete’s mindset. Embracing change while overcoming fear of failure develops character and a willingness to meet new challenges. The accomplishment of personal goals met through effort, determination, and perseverance hone skills for a lifetime of success”
Where to begin? & How do I choose a club?
- Research: Programs are not all the same. An organization that consistently fails to produce major university talent is a red flag.
- Investigate: Where do the best players in the area train? Engage parents. Ask questions. Scout and watch groups and lessons.
- Communicate: Great programs all have successful alumni that are eager to recommend and advise. Speak with current/former players or parents
- Contact: Connect with “Head of player development”. Ask questions and be clear about your expectations. Make sure the program reflects your core values.
- Monitor: While not an expert, you can determine if skill advancement is occurring. Ask questions and if no improvement is evident; look to make a change.
We aspire to develop great tennis players but more importantly outstanding people. We invite you to find out more about our program and discover why GRRF is a tennis destination for players of the Midwest.
